Description of a scholarship programme
Every year the biggest research center of Germany DESY carries out a scholarship programme that invites foreign students, including Indians studying physics and natural sciences. Researches based on DESY laboratory include an opportunity to study physical microelements, special equipment and technologies for scientific works, as well as huge experience that German scientists share.
The grant fully covers expenses of a foreign student, including Indians for studying and accommodation in Germany, and partially covers transportation costs. The course of study in a summer school DESY takes 2 months: from July to August.
To become a participant of a scholarship programme it is necessary to meet the following requirements:
- Complete at least 3 years at the department of physics or natural sciences by summer 2018 in India or other country. The priority is given to applicants who will obtain a Bachelor’s diploma in summer or complete the 1st year of Master’s programme.
- Know English at a high level.
- Be not a participant of this scholarship programme in past.
It is important to point out that student’s with a Master’s degree or those who will get a Master’s diploma in summer 2018 in India or other country cannot take part in this programme.
