Description of Amsterdam Excellence Scholarships
University of Amsterdam has announced about the beginning of a scholarship programme for students from countries outside EU. That’s why Indian students may struggle for free education and accommodation in a prestigious European university. The language of a study course for foreign students is English.
It should be mentioned that before applying, an Indian student has to be accepted to a selected Master’s programme at the University of Amsterdam. The scholarship is applied to students of the following fields of study: law, business, economics, education, humanitarian, natural or STEM field, psychology, communication and social sphere.
The amount of scholarship is €25,000. This sum covers studies, accommodation and other needs of an Indian student. According to the programme requirements, the scholarship is paid for 1 year, but there is an opportunity to extend it for the second year for two-year Master’s programmes.
Scholarship holders are selected among applicants based on the following criteria: academic performance of a student, motivation, significance of a selected field of study. Indian students given a scholarship become a part of a university student community participating in different kinds of out-of-class activities.
An Indian student should provide a package of documents through a university admission board.
